The Privacy Act outlines data information requirements for organisations that handle personal information. As an organisation dependent upon personal customer information to service existing customers and market to new customers, Suncorp needs to ensure that each of their staff members are trained to deal with personal customer information in an appropriate way.

Online Learning Australia provided Suncorp with a suite of training materials that help them meet their privacy training needs: an online module, an instructional video, an information brochure, three self-paced modules and two coach-led sessions with participant guides.

The materials were developed in an efficient and consultative manner, building the learning according to the needs of specific audience groups and input obtained from large stakeholder workshops. Suncorp continues to use the materials throughout their widely dispersed network and has data from training audits that demonstrate the effectiveness and success of this blended learning program.
