Sirens are blazing, lights are flashing, the clock is ticking ……. and the course hasn't even started yet!

Our solution for St.George starts with the dramatic sequence described above. Before the learners even know what is happening, they are thrust into an emergency situation where they need to make important decisions quickly. Just as in real life. The learner is prompted to make three sequential decisions and is then provided with feedback on their behaviour, based on one of the 16 outcomes that their choices could have caused.

This initial activity is followed by a series of additional interactive activities that drive learners into the supporting content, helping the learner make an informed decision. We even created an online replica of the St.George Emergency Procedures booklet, which every employee is issued with, to get them into the habit of looking for information in this critical resource.
